Commercial Description:
A unique beer, Kloster Weizen is a true Bavarian style Weizen beer. Intentionally cloudy (hefe weizen) in appearance, this beer has a "spicy" flavor and is very refreshing. It is popular to add a slice of lemon to a glass of this beer.

Smells of banana and cucumber. Malty, wheaty and bright, with creschendoing bitter strings. Lots of fruity, melonesque tones. Citrus and cloves. A little too sweetish.

Orange/gold color with small head. Smells of wheat and spice. Tastes of citrus, wheat, and spice. Feels light. This is best cold.

Bottle (another one from BadgerBen!) Pours hazy golden color with a small white head that diminished quickly. Nice hefe nose, wheat, citrus, yeast and spice. Flavor is tangy-sweet, grainy, with lemon and pepper - not quite up to the standards of the best hefe's though. Light body and gentle carbonation. Not bad at all - a good summer cooler.

Cloudy gold with a white fizzy head. Spicy and smokey wheat. Has a pretty rounded out flavor of wheat, lemon, spice, banana. Fairly soft palate and all around good beer.

Cloudy Gold Coloring. Wheat. Spice. Citrus. Not a bad Hefe At All. Not a Session Beer.

Cloudy yellow with a spicy smell. You can taste the alcohol, or maybe it is some real strong spice. Has a nice initial bite with no aftertaste. Seems a little too watery.

Hazy golden color, ring of white bubbles around the top. Light aroma, I detect grain, yeast, and a bit of citrus. The flavor has sweet banana and plum along with a bit of lemon rind. Good stuff!
Update - tastes really good coming in from a bike ride in hot weather. Probably shouldn't be gulped like water, though.

bottle, poured a slightly cloudy dark yellow, with little head. the expected hefe aroma was there but very light. surprisingly good taste, smooth slight bitter wheat taste. very refreshing, finishes with a bana/raisin type taste that is very good. i wish i had brought more back from Wi.
