Commercial Description:
A unique beer, Kloster Weizen is a true Bavarian style Weizen beer. Intentionally cloudy (hefe weizen) in appearance, this beer has a "spicy" flavor and is very refreshing. It is popular to add a slice of lemon to a glass of this beer.

Wheaty, tastes a little like chewing gum. Didn't clear the palate so well.

Had this bottled in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Cloudy, rich, very spicy for a Hefeweizen! Impressive clovy, wonderful aroma. I recommend this beer.

This is good and perhaps a little different from most wheat brews. I guess the flavor is a little stronger in the clove department. It is a bit more clear in color then many others of this style. I would recomend this but there are better wheats. It certainly is not bland though. Some of the bottles in my six pack seemed to have gone bad and had a terrible sand like flavor. My rateing is for the fresh ones

One of my favorite styles of beer! It poured a small sized white head with fine-medium sized bubbles that was mostly lasting. The body of this beer was slightly cloudy which is typical of this style of beer with fizzy carbonation and golden hue. The nose consisted of clove, banana and spice with a sweet and sour taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth, thin and a bit watery and it was light bodied. There was good lacing with this beer.

This brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that left behind a strongly carbonated weak yello colored body and a poor lacing. Now, on the otherhand, the aroma is most excellent. It has a lot of elements to it including clove, corander, other spices, oranges and I am sure several other I could not discern. The mouthfeel is bubbly tingly from the start though the finish with a gently smoothness throughout. THe falvor is a bit more subdued with notes of a variety of things including clove, coriander, sweet malt and some hoppiness. Indeed, a very complex and interesting brew.

Cloudy golden color, small white head that faded mildly fast.Juicyfruit aroma with fruit and spice coming into play as well, and fairly sweet. The taste is fruity sweet with hints of so many things it hard to describe them all.The after taste is fruity and wheaty with a nice malt side and slight amount of spice thrown in to change the pace. This is a very nice brew and well worth finding if you can.

Hazy golden body with tightly bubbled white head. . . honey dipped pine cone aroma with a good assemblence of malt to back it up. Easy drinking with a burnt sugar flavour up front and a sourness in the finish. Very nice on a warm summer evening.
