bac080 (398), Boardman, Ohio, USA Nov 25, 2003 Wheaty, tastes a little like chewing gum. Didn't clear the palate so well.
esjaygee (721), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 Hazy banana yellow with a medium slowly dissipating white head. Aroma of banana, toasted malts, fruit, mild clove and yeast. Taste of banana, wheat, apple, clove and lemon. Mildly grainy body has a semi-sweet and dry finish that’s also a bit spicy. I’m a bit shocked they retired this one as it seems like a quality effort. phishpond417 (1409), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 24, 2008 The aroma of wheat is evident in this one, but the taste is not there. Colour is dark golden, big full white head. Aroma is mild, not a lot of wheat, soft fruit. Taste is a little unbalanced, finishes tart. a little dissapointing. unclemattie (1568), Georgia, USA Apr 17, 2008 12oz, twist-off bottle, Yellow label. Medium haze, golden color. Smells like a big German Hefe. Wheat, ripe bananas, big nose. Flavor is sweet malted wheat, and a slight tartness. Hints of lemon. Light-Medium bodied. Very fun beer I thoroughly enjoyed. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 5, 2008 Date: 03/15/2008

hogan873 (184), Joliet, Illinois, USA Apr 1, 2008 Pours slightly cloudy and straw-colored with a thin white head. Aroma consists of yeast, banana, and spice. Up to this point, it’s much like other hefeweizens. It’s in the taste where it is different. The palate is a bit heavier than most hefeweizens and slightly oily. Malty and sweet describes the flavor with touches of banana, honey, and spice. Finishes clean. A great beer that is unfortunately retired.
