pours a gold orange with a one finger fluffy off white head. aroma is malt with a touch of hops. has a medium body with good lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger. not my style but good.

Dec 26, 2009 Bottle from Archer Liquor. Pours copper with a decent off-white head. Aroma is roast caramel. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavor is medium caramel with very mild hop. Kind of herby grassy hop. Pretty good beer.

Nov 18, 2009 12oz bottle 11/18/09 (Singles rack @ Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a clear amber with a huge off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and a little vanilla. Taste of the same with more sweetness and vanilla coming through. This medium bodied brew is very well balanced and quite tasty.

Nov 12, 2009 This is no doubt one of the beers that got me thinking about flavors and complexities in beer and started me off on taking beer more seriously. Of course that was years ago, but I think it still holds up nicely. The beer pours an orange color with a medium head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is nice with some honey, some light saltwater and some hay with a light touch of malt sweetness. The flavor is doughy with notes of apple noble hops and a light mineral character.

Oct 4, 2009 Poured from the bottle to a light yellow with thin white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Aroma was faint, but what was there was a muted malty fruit overtaken by mild skunk. Mouthfeel thin and non-desctript and the flavor was bland. This all led to a finish that was short and dry.
Not impressed with this one.

Poured a copper colour with a tight small white head.
Aroma was malty sweet caramel, hint of alc and vanilla.
Flavour was a little boozy at first impression but the malt flavour came on as the brew warmed up. Pretty sweet, medium bodied. Toasted malt, some honey, light herbal hop bitterness.
