Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 2, 2008 Bottle. Better served warmer. Pours a dark brown body with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is musky malt german hops and a sticky etoh. Flavor is smooth roasted malt, and german hops. A light malty flavor trails off. decent. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Apr 24, 2008 Poured a dark brown colour with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is pleasent, touch of oak, over ripe fruit- apples and jerky? Dark roasted coffee beans, full creamy mouthfeel, well carbonated and a nice long finish. jbuzz (414), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 11, 2008 Capital night at Three Cellars Milwukee.
Rich malt taste and a dry finish with a hint of nuts and toffee. Was very smooth and quite refreshing. Not an over-powering beer esjaygee (687), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Apr 10, 2008 Dark brown with caramel and nutty aroma. Mild caramel and sweet malts with a semi-dry finish. Decently balanced. IlanMan (472), Winona, Minnesota, USA Apr 4, 2008 I think the commercial description on here makes the beer all that more not special. Pour was very dark clear amber with a forced very light tan head. Aroma was of light malt and maybe some hops and slight corn. Taste was a bit better with an average malt bill along with a hint of nuts and toffee. Was very smooth and quite refreshing. Not an over-powering beer at all. Decent but nothing special. Probably won’t purchase again.
