3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle into Le Duvel (time stamp was unreadable - 70 IBUs) - nose is allergy season in a glass. Sip adds strong citrus notes, mostly grapefruit but way more astringent. Strong hop flavor but not much in the taste department. Noticeable malty backbone. Mutiny? more like moot-eeny.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice amber color. Pine and citrus on the nose. Grassy pine and grapefruit on the palate. Malty on the finish. More of an everyday type of IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Bottle] Pours a lighter shade of amber. Little head. Prickly carbonation. Biscuity nose. Moderate levels of floral hops in the aroma and taste. Dry, grainy and somewhat astringent. Lighter body. Lingering black tea notes blend with hops in the finish. An easy drinker. Tasting notes from 2/2014.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear amber with white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and toffee malt. Very little hop aroma. Maybe a little pine. Taste is definitely more towards the malt side. Sweet taste up front with mild bitter finish. Caramel, toffee, syrup and pine flavors. Medium bodied with a clingy sweet mouthfeel. I really like the taste and it's pretty smooth but really doesn't taste like an IPA. If you're looking for a bitterly hoppy beer look elsewhere. I think it's a good beer just mis-classified.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a darkish dingy orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of toasted malt, citrus, pine, and lemon. Notes of cereal grains, mild caramel, iced tea. Flavor is moderately bitter initially with some caramel sweetness and burnt sugar notes. Bitterness intensifies as you drink but it is more of a nondescript generic bitterness rather than a flavorful hop bitterness. Medium bodied, very average carbonation. Finish is abrupt and bitter. This is average.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy copper pour small off white head good lacing. Sweet citrus and caramel aroma. Average palate. A crisp citrus with amid bitterness level that lingers a touch piney in the finish. Good not great lacks a bit of malt balance.

Cloudy orange pour at grape escape in galena. Spicy aroma. Dank floral and apricot notes. Not very good. Will get it down the hatch though

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Got some of this in Florida. After moving away from WI these are hard to come by. But this is your average IPA. Nice citrus aroma and taste, but a rather simple IPA.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured 12oz bottle, fresh 6 pack. Pours an unclouded amber color. Smells of hops and caramel. It has a nice hop flavor that is light to medium body. Not really a good representation of a IPA’s.

An average ipa at best. Very fruity and not too hoppy. Smells malty. Had this at my brother in laws house.
