3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from BrookFalls Discount. Pours a very clear pale orange with a soapy white head leaving a lot of lacing. Aroma has fruit, bread and faint pine. Taste is of sweet toffee malts, some citrus and a lot of resin. Finishes sweetly with some bitterness. A semi-malty, semi bitter ipa.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear, light copper-gold. Amber tinged white head, like soft whipped cream, receded slowly, leaving a full white cap. Aroma out was nicely floral, herbal, citrus for a brief moment, then it was gone, leaving a slightly yeasty aroma. Initial flavor is slightly sweet, a modest hop bitter emerges with the sweet, and finishes slightly peppery. A little more body than some. Simple, clean, no complaints. ("Crossovert" ’s discription is very interesting).

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bright gold pour with a frothy tan head. Hoppy resin notes on the notes with a bit of spicy fruitness. Sweet bitter taste with a pretty easy finish. Not the hoppiest ipa but overall decent

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Twist-off cap; they should know better. Pours clear, bright orange with soapy white head. Decent lacing. Moderate hop nose, mostly orange flesh and a hint of pine. Bitter kick up front, more citrus and lots of malt to boost. Bready, pilsner-ish mouthfeel. A little thin. Better than I expected.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear dark golden with a nice white head and lacing through the glass, looks nice, the aroma is pretty sweet with more biscuit and bread coming through than hops, the flavor has a light front end and a little kick of hops in the finish, the mouthfeel is pretty light and the finish is dry, just seemed pretty thin through out, glad to see Capital expanding their styles a little bit, but this one isn’t going to be their big seller.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber/orange in color. Thin white head leaves just a bit lacing. Fairly average IPA. Lightly sweet, biscuit malt with a moderate pine bitterness. Decent, but needs more hop bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Capitals first shot at an IPA. Poured a nice dark golden with a one finger head that hung around with decent lacing. Pretty straightforward palate but yet enjoyable. Not complicated but yet very solid.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Overall, very solid and well balanced beer. Taste was just a little too simple and straight forward. The citrus smell and bitter taste came through, but the flavor was fairly one note. This would make a wonderful food pairing beer. Good beer, but it needed something more to be a great beer.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Whte grape aroma might suggest sauvin hops in the aroma. Flavor is again winey, medium bitterness, light mandarin orange, and some bready malt. Crisp, dry palate.
