Bottle from beerboxer. Pours light amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma seems earthy. Med body. Foamy carb. Flavor seems very hoppy, but itís earthy hop. Mild hop burn. Itís sort of chewy. Malt backbone exists, but itís not exactly caramel. Lots of bitter on the tongue sides. Personally, I think this ale deserves a higher rating than it has garnered. Itís laid back, but there seems to be lots of ingredients - not a cheaply brewed ale. Finishes dry, bitter and satisfying - hop wise.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry moderately bitter finish.

Dogbrick (11339) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Pours a hazy copper-orange color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, earthy hops and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Whte grape aroma might suggest sauvin hops in the aroma. Flavor is again winey, medium bitterness, light mandarin orange, and some bready malt. Crisp, dry palate.

Bottle. Orange malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet citrus malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a near clear orange but has a ton of sediment and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of pine with a strong grass note and a decent amount of sweet grains. Flavor is similar with lots of grass and some sweet grains and a slight pine bite.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Clear pale orange pour with a white head. Getting some lager yeast on the nose. Bit of resin bite in the taste, but itís a bit sharp and persistent. Not a great IPA.

Bottle shared by beerboxer. Pours clear blonde with a modest off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a dry bitter finish. A bit watery but otherwise, pretty good.

Bottled. Poured bright, lighter orange with a well-retained, sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up orange zest, grass, and peppery hoppage over sweet caramel and biscuity notes.. OK, but it didnít really pop. The flavor found orange, grass, and pine bitterness over bready malts.. grainy, residual sugars and bitterness on the finish.. a bit tacky and sharp by the end. Lighter-bodied with low-moderate carbonation on the palate.. didnít flow great.. this was just OK.
