Clean orange amber. Medium white head, lasting with some lace. Aroma has nice balance - Caramel, citrus, mango; good but not standout. Flavor much the same. Very bitter - a bit too sharp. Theres some sweetness there as well. A good enough beer but the bitterness of the long finish overstays its welcome.

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 6-9-13. Fresh, hoppy aroma features tonic water, seltzer, and lime scents. Nice but simple smell. Pours an orange-tinged deep gold with a large amount of fluffy, off-white head. Liquid is clear with some effervescence. Produces good lacing. Good-looking beer. Dry taste features a mineral water element. Simple flavor but pretty good. Light to medium body. Lively and soft in the palate. Probably more enjoyable than this score implies, but too simple (i.e., lacks the complexity of a standout brew).

Pours a light golden orange with good head, excelent frothy lace. Aroma is mildly hoppy floral maybe slightly with sweet fruit, slight dankness, possibly herbal with caramel and light bready yeast. Some funkiness. Taste is same but hops aroma and taste becomes more vivivd as it warms.Becomes more of a dank earthy hop profile in taste.Has some sticky caramel malty sweetness.Peppery fruit.Strong spicey pine finish.Seems to fit the bill of a malty midwestern ipa. A bit sweet though. Some dryness in finish.Almost a little hot and boozie also

An average ipa at best. Very fruity and not too hoppy. Smells malty. Had this at my brother in laws house. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from PW singles rack. Nose and initial taste are very mild hop-wise. Decent but not outstanding. Can’t tell the ’drink by’ or ’bottled’ date...could be stale.

Orange/tan pour, 1 inch white head. Nose is mint and subtle pine. Middle is alcohol, orange sherbert, passion fruit. Finish is sour grapefruit. Interesting.

Pours a clear light orange with lasting head and great lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus with orange zest, earthy, with floral hops. Taste is laid back, light, crisp up front into a mild hop burn, settling on a great caramel and bready malt aftertaste. Finishes dry in the palate. I haven’t been too impressed with Capital’s brews in the past, but this is very underrated. It’s greatest strength is how laid back it is.

Bottle. Twist-off cap; they should know better. Pours clear, bright orange with soapy white head. Decent lacing. Moderate hop nose, mostly orange flesh and a hint of pine. Bitter kick up front, more citrus and lots of malt to boost. Bready, pilsner-ish mouthfeel. A little thin. Better than I expected.

Bright gold pour with a frothy tan head. Hoppy resin notes on the notes with a bit of spicy fruitness. Sweet bitter taste with a pretty easy finish. Not the hoppiest ipa but overall decent
