COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic Wisconsin Lager at it’s finest. Harking back to an era where Supper Clubs were In Vogue and Wisconsin had numerous regional breweries making their version of American Style Lagers. You know, back when these types of beers exhibited regional soul. And many of these beers were enjoyed during an evening spent at a local Supper Club, visiting with friends and family and having a good dinner. Supper Club is an eminently drinkable version of a true American Lager. Featuring a greater depth of refreshing malt character than the mass marketed versions of the style, Supper Club is clean yet satisfying.

Golden haze, smell is cereal and bread. Taste is bready, has a crisp feel. Very drinkable, but be sure to have flavorful food.

Small head, fizzy, white in color, fully diminishing. Clear with no particles. Light golden. Malty aroma. Light acidic with shot finish. Medium body, watery to oily. The label says "not bad" but it is also "not that good"

More substance than your typical american lager...after-taste lingers with non-appealing flavors. Nervous about trying Capital’s other offerings...hope they have more substance. Great name though....aw jeez!

Thin head. Disappears quickly. Pale straw color. Very clear. Fruity lager like aroma. Sweet flavor with notes of honey. Good body almost no hops or bitterness. Smooth crisp finish.

As advertised, I can here sense the lighter side of the mom-and-pop past I never experienced. While this is a pale lager and thus not going to thrill anyone (and as usual, big swigs of it reveal skunkiness), its clear, corn-and-cracker taste (no gimmicky spices here as in most lighter micro lagers) and relatively restrained carbonation make it a cut above the macro swill that many (especially in Wisconsin, home of Miller and Leinenkugel’s) are loyal to.

Thin head, fruity bold flavor. Decent but not something you can drink many of.

I was drawn to this by the label, but after tasting, not my type of lager. The malt character has to much depth for my liking.

On draft in a pint- light head- bright golden color. Standard lager aroma. Clean smooth creamy light carbonation to the palate. Easy drinking beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I really liked this beer. Poured a clear, medium yellow, with half inch head with good lacing. Nice even malt notes, with smooth hop finish. Slight citrus and honey flavor with balanced notes at the end without bitterness.

After a stop at the the brewery I was introduced to this beer. It tasted pretty good out of the tap so I figured I’d take a growler home and see what it’s all about. It poured a golden straw color with lots of carbonation but little to no head. The aroma was faint. I got a whiff of sweet grain and a touch of malt. The flavor was a tad muted. Crisp and clean but not much flavor other then a bit of malt a slight hop bite. This seems like afairly light offering from Capital. The carbonation was decent but it felt very thin in the mouth. Not a bad beer overall. Not a great beer though either. I could drink this but, would rather have many other beers from this brewer.
