Hops with an American accent. Disarmingly drinkable.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2010 Bottle from Champanes, has a clear bright, medium gold pour with some effervescence, produced a white one to two finger head that dissipated to a ring, aromas of bread, faint floral and citrus hops, light pear fragrance, hints of toasted malt, little sweetness on the nose, flavors of toasted malt with some bread, grain and light fruit, has a crisp finish with some hop bitterness, mouth feel is a little less than medium with some hop bitterness, an ok Pale Ale, pretty easy to drink, and I think this would taste good with Pizza.

I canít believe Iím the second person to rate this beer. Sample from the brewery. Clear amber color with small white head. Caramel and sweet aroma that was matched in the flavor but also clove and banana aroma as well. Med full body. Very standard pale without any hops to speak of.

Had this one on draught at the brewery in Middleton, Wisconsin. Clear, medium golden pour with a wispy white head, light floral hoppy nose, nuanced bitterness but plenty of floral, piney hops. Strong but balanced finish. Great!

[Growler, thanks Skyview] Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of a lot of grain and grapefruit. Taste is not very bitter, a lot of grain throughout with some grapefruit at the end. Not the best APA out there, but not the worst either.

Bottle. Pours a pale clear amber with a lace of off-white head that accumulates at the edge of the glass. Very little lacing. Floral hops aroma with a rich malty, spicy body. Light bodied, very mild, some spiciness in the finish. A bit soapy, hint of toast. Thin.

12 oz bottle pours an almost clear orange with small white head but good lacing. Aroma is of piney and citrus hops with a good caramel malt backbone, but nothing overpowering. Flavor is malty without much of a finish. Light to medium body. A good APA but nothing Iíll remember.

Pours a clear golden color with thin, white, fizzy head. Aroma is like floral hops and subtle malt backbone. Taste is floral hops, light biscuit and slight citrus. Easy drinking and well carbonated. This would be an excellent lawnmower beer.

Pours a light amber with a small off white head. Aroma is lightly sweet candy, citrus and light floral. Flavor is light citrus hops and faint caramel malt. Light bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Finishes abruptly and bitter.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.
