Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white hear. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of both fruit and caramel. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Hazy, amber golden with a yellowish head. Fat, caramellish aroma with some aroma hops. Rather full-bodied with sweetish caramel and fruit - some overripe fruit even. Also has some burned caramel. Rather bitter finish. Neat. 040408

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Woody and dry fruity aroma. Sweet flavour with a light fruity and woody note into the finish. Somewhat flat in flavour and almost towards oxidised.

Bottle... Clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Hearty, earthy aroma with notes of biscuit and chicken broth. Strong, medicinal flavor. Bitter-sweet with toffee notes and earthy hops. A touch boozy. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Bitter, mineral finish. Cheers to ughsmash for providing the bottle!

Pours a transparent bright copper bronze with a well-lacing frothy off-white head. Has a sweet caramely malty aroma with some toffee and grainy notes. Body starts fairly full and well carbonated with sweet viscous caramel flavor, some earthy English bittering hops and a touch of a German lager yeasty profile toward a bittersweet finish. Somewhat similar to Fullers Vintage Ale, but not quite as balanced. Still, a pretty decent brew.

Small off-white rim, despite continuous fine bubbling rising up from red-shot, pale amber beer. Sharp initial nose of cookies, solvent and caramel, a bit vegetal. Sweet, alcoholic, syrup-covered cake: the alcohol however dissolving the cloying, is not making it disappear. I can’t find much fruit (maybe dried figs), let alone hops. Toasted edges of a rumcake. Warming up, it becomes very almondy, as cheap brandy. Very sharp, burning MF, but ending surprisingly empty. A shakey solution to a style problem? How not to get too sweet without a truckload of hops. It can make for an interesting sipping ale... once.
