Most breweries are ashamed of brewing with rice, but not so the good folks at Capital Brewery. The wild rice -- which really isn’t a rice, but rather a long grain -- adds a lightness to the brew, while thew hops add just the right amount of bitterness. A great summer beer.

Grain, hops, aroma. Amber, yellow-orange color with mild, quickly deminishing head. A malt, nut, taste with a hint of sweet, bitter at the end.

light color with a quickly vanishing head, aroma similar to a domestic light beer, drinks with a bready flavor and a bitter finish that disipates quickly, not amazing but a nice light beer

Bottle from the brewery’s shop. Depp golden color with an armoe that is hard to describe. This beer reminds me of the Japanse lagers. Tasty, smooth lager but nothing extraordinary.
