3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into Lager glass. Poured an amber-brow-dull copper with a fluffy, light tan head. Lacing was so-so. Aroma was a spicy, bready malt and bakery items. Flavor was no terribly distinguishing, although still rather enjoyable: basically a follow through on the promise found in the nose. A light frshly bitter hoppiness showed up near th end of the flavor for an interesting contrast. The mouthfeel was slightly astringent and light. Overall, nice enough to have been worth the calories. I’d probably drink again on tap.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Red-amber in color. A thicker, moderatately tight head. You can smell the smoky roasted notes immediately with this beer. Flavor at first is crisp and the roasted flavors quickly come out. The roasted flavor is definitely not a strong coffee roast, it is more mellow. Like roasted grain. Heavy enough to keep you warm in the winter, and yet not so heavy to weigh the palette down.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle pours to clear golden amber color. Aroma is a nice mix of hops and malty sweetness. Taste is kind of bland, with subtle hop and malt taste. No real spice profile. Overall eh! Ok seasonal but nothing I’d want to buy again.

This is the best vienna ive had. Nice balance of the malts and the hops resulting in a refreshingly smooth beer. Nice option for a slightly warm and sessionable vienna

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Aroma-grainy malts. Pleasant, but not overwhelming. Appearance - A lovely dark amber hue. Taste - A bready malt with maybe a hint of nut, followed by a noticeable but not strong hop finish. Palate - A fuller, smooth bodied lager. Carbonation is pleasant and not over done. Overall - A great seasonal from Capital. It’s similar to Capital Amber but fuller bodied and more complex tasting. I’ll be more than willing to drink this through the cold Wisconsin winter.

I’m so special that I got Sahar’s liquors around the corner to order this up. I really didn’t expect them to but I was delightfully surprised.
Smooth, very understated malt flavor, minor hop bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz. bottle. Burnt orange in color. The nose displays roasted malt, with a touch of almond, and hops. The palate is soft, yet refined for a vienna. The flavor starts with a touch of malt, followed by lemon-grass, and hop bitterness. Fairly decent, but not too complicated or complex.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I bought this expecting a wheat beer; the bartenderlied to me. The bitterness, even though it took me quite by surprise, was balanced rather nicely with what malt it had. Enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I have had a couple of different experiences with this beer. Out of the tap it had a great spice flavor. It had a great balance of malt and hops and was moderately sweet. The finish was smooth. However, I recently had one out of the bottle and was disappointed with the aftertaste. It had a little bit of a cough syrupy aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was different than other Viennas. I found it to be lighter and not as sweet - which is fine by me. It was lively and poured to a small head. Attractive light copper color. Just the right bitterness for me. And this was a thirst quencher.
