I’m a big fan of amber beers and i’m kinda picky about them too. One of the better ambers i’ve had the oppurtunity to drink. I’d would definately recommend it.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (4548) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 9, 2013
12 oz twist off. Amber to golden pour with a fizzy offwhite head that sticks for awhile and fizzes away with some small splotches of lacing. Smell is light. Vienna malts, baked bread, and some slight herbal/earthy hops. Flavor is herbal hops, rich malt, caramel, low bitterness. Finish is malty with a hint of bitterness. The mouthfeel is the only low point of this beer, it is quite watery though its flavor is robust.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jmcgavin12 (165) - Madison, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Pours an amber with frothy voluminous head. Aroma is full of caramel and malts with a bit of bitter citrus. Sweet with a bit of bitter on the tongue. Finishes pretty smooth. Nothing too special though.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ericular (226) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 12, 2013
From the bottle. Aroma has moderate caramel malts with some grain and not much hops. Taste is only mildly bitter, with the main event being a light body of pale malts and a little bread. It has a lightly bitter finish with a lingering sweetness, making it clean but lacking much of a lasting impression. All-in-all it’s drinkable, and a big step up from the pale lager macrobrews you’ll probably find it sitting next to.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jjgmd (732) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Pours a clear deep golden orange color, with a small dissipating head. Nose is malt and grainy. Taste is typical of most lagers , boring without taste or any real flavor. Better than most, with a crisp dry finish. Pass me the ales please! Quaff Score 5 / 10
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 zgaier (692) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Pours a rusty copper with a white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is of toasty malt, caramel, bread, and earthy notes with a dry finish. Light brew, not much taste
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Nekronos (3184) - Xalapa, MEXICO - FEB 9, 2013
Good too a little too bitter for my taste but still well brewed. NIce features and refreshing somehow too.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MaltOne (145) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Initial aroma is a little "beery." Pours light reddish amber with a brief off-white head. Al flavors are seem muted, definite nod to the malt, with light roasted notes. Palate is the most noticeable feature - approaches a medium body, enough fizz to keep the palate clean, with a faint hop finish. Overall a very drinkable beer. Actually, what I was looking for - a good everyday, refreshing beer. thank you Don G.
