Aroma of caramel, honey oats, apple, pear and a balanced herbal hop presence. Appearance is copper/amber with light bone head. Flavor matches the nose; a nice toasty attack with a slightly sweet honey/fruit center with a refreshing herbal finish. Palate is bubbly and chewy with a bit of stickiness. A really well made lager with nice points of interest.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gregis (1256) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - JAN 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy pale brown, like iced tea with lemon squeezed into it, with an ecru head that drops fairly quickly. The nose is of sweet, slightly doughy caramel malt; very clean. The palate is light-bodied with a mild mineral quality that leads into a drying finish. Following the aroma, the flavor is of sweet, doughy, and slightly biscuity malt backed by just a hint of earthy hops. This is a pretty solid Vienna, and at 4 bucks per sixer, it’s a heckuva value as well.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 BVery (2544) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Bottle. Slightly hazy amber pour with a small off-white ring head. Aroma is toffee and caramel malt. Lighter, somewhat fizzy palate. Taste is caramel/toffee, earthy hops, and a bit (just a bit) on the watery side. Decent beer, for sure, but it shouldn’t elicit any "hey dude, you need to try....." texts.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 nick76 (3583) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 25, 2011
The aroma is dust and hoppy with a grassy/herbal hop. The malt is subtle and has a slight caramel quality. The appearance is light amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth from carbonation. Overall it’s a bit off style and sort of a mess but not bad.
