Orange brown or tea color.Off white thick head quickly diminishes.Good malt hop mix, with some tartness and soapy flavor. Small bubbles. I like the 1900 better.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clean amber/ copper, with soapy white head that falls off quickly. Aroma is pretty plain. Some soils and plant smell. Flavor is of fresh bread with notes of honey. The carbonation seems kind of high and it doesnít seem to move around the palate much. Refreshing, but not really my style.

I spent the last four days crushing can after can of this beer while camping so I might as well review it.
It pours a brownish red color with a nice amount of tan head. The smell is malty with hints of hops. The taste is very nice. Malty with a bit of caramel and nice hop bite on the finish. The beer is very tame in the mouth. Itís light and easy on the palate. I polished off a case of this in four days so if thatís not a vote for good drinkabilty then I donít know what is.

Great vibrant color...almost pumpkin pie color. Light maltiness and pretty strong hop. Pretty drinkable...3 pints anyway.

(bottle sample) Pours a pretty copper color with a fast disappearing thin head. Aroma is very hoppy. The flavor I expected from the aroma was amalty monster but is somewhat tempered by a suprising sweetness. Not my favorite Capital brew, but very enjoyable.

Being from Middleton, and less than 5 minutes away from Capital Brewery makes this quite the local favorite. Perhaps it is the local hype that has caused a disappointment for me? For whatever reason, this is a solid beer, however it is not a great beer.
