A very enjoyable Vienna style lager, from a cool little brewery in Wisconsin. Not as good as Leinie’s Red, but close.

Drank from a 12 oz bottle. An interesting amber. I'm not sure if the sour taste I'm experiencing is burnt caramel or oxidation from age. Not my favorite. Maybe it's better on tap.

Bold malt, round and nutty and just graced with a brath of bitterness. Yum.

This ia a Capital brew that I initially really liked, then stopped drinking, then rediscovered. Amber is really not a bad beer, if you don't expect too much from it. Certainly more malt than hops, not a lot of other flavors, good color and carbonation, but not a Lakefront Stein Lager. The beer seems like a "safe" offering, and I wonder what Capital could produce if they put the pedal to the metal.

aroma fruity, sweet, slightly hoppy; non-uniform larger than medium head (tan)- dark amber color; flavor -excellent hoppiness (but not over-powering)- sweetness accompanies slight bitterness - complex finish - easy to drink - ABV not listed, Id guess around 5.5 (could be higher)

Orange brown or tea color.Off white thick head quickly diminishes.Good malt hop mix, with some tartness and soapy flavor. Small bubbles. I like the 1900 better.

Pours clean amber/ copper, with soapy white head that falls off quickly. Aroma is pretty plain. Some soils and plant smell. Flavor is of fresh bread with notes of honey. The carbonation seems kind of high and it doesn’t seem to move around the palate much. Refreshing, but not really my style.

I’m a big fan of amber beers and i’m kinda picky about them too. One of the better ambers i’ve had the oppurtunity to drink. I’d would definately recommend it.
