2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark Amber. Diminishing head. I'm having a hard time describing this. Pretty typical for the style but something's not quite right. I found this a little too thin on the palate and overly malty with some metallic off notes resulting from fizzy carbonation. It not bad. It just doesn't sit right with me.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dissapointing. Sweet and malty, good carbonation. Not enough hops. Poured nice dark golden color with good head which soon evaporated, but had nice lacing. I wouldn't turn it down if offered, but I won't seek it out again.

Donít see anything spectacular about it. But not really my style of beer. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pretty mild amber. Flavors included some light sweet malt, light caramel, and mild hop bitterness. Smooth body but not a lot of flavor overall. Decent brew but not worth a second buy.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is dust and hoppy with a grassy/herbal hop. The malt is subtle and has a slight caramel quality. The appearance is light amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth from carbonation. Overall itís a bit off style and sort of a mess but not bad.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear deep golden orange color, with a small dissipating head. Nose is malt and grainy. Taste is typical of most lagers , boring without taste or any real flavor. Better than most, with a crisp dry finish. Pass me the ales please! Quaff Score 5 / 10

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
2005 bottle from Robertsreality, who sent me practically every Capital beer! Orange golden body, bit of a chill haze, though not as hazy as the other capitals Iíve had. Off-white head is immediately dissipating to nothing. Aroma has lots of lightly sour yeast, bits of hard vienna malt and old bread. I wasnt as sold on this one as the others. A little bit meaty, quite sour/sweet, with too much breadiness, and light buttercream. Medium to medium-light body. Not a bad balance and a somewhat watery, though pleasing, drinkable mouthfeel. Moderate to low carbonation. I usually love all yeast flavors, perhaps itís some acidic mash flavors that I donít like? Not sure. Will have to try again.
