COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Med/full bodied unfiltered, dark English style stout. We kept the roasted malt down to make it extremely drinkable. After fermentation we added Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and aged it on American oak spirals. 5.2% ABV

Reviewed from notes. Description mentioned vanilla and oak. Served in a pint glass. Pours near black with a light ran head. A bit of lacing without much retention. The nose brings forward light notes of oak and vanilla. Some slight roast and a bit of coffee. Taste is mild vanilla. Hints of dry oak. A bit of roast and coffee. Medium feel with a good body and some nice oak character. Drinks well overall and was a nice beer. Well done. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-03-2010
