Draft at Shirlington location. Arrived at table, unknown how long since pour as head was still noticeable, but quite small. Light clear (translucent) red color. Aroma is a sweet, cherry one, with touches of malts, caramel, and a tinge of citrus. Flavor is certainly cherries, but a bit more subtle than I had expected.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear red color with a medium sized white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of grain, toasted notes and cherries. The taste is tart cherry pie filling, grain, caramel and faint hops. Medium bodied, refreshing, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2011 A burgundy red ale witha thin superlacing light pinkish head. In aroma, light mixture of cherries and sugar beet, light wheat, very plain. In mouth, a sweet malt with light solventy notes, weird chemical sweetness, like cheap cherry juice, corn, rather cloying. On tap at Shirlington location, April 12 2011.

Draft, Shirlington. Small off-white head atop crystal clear red body. Aroma is medium sweet, cherry, light earthy. Taste is medium sweet, cherry, some grapefruit/earthy. Light-medium body, light acidity.

Travlr (5379) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 7, 2010
Light and bright brown, thin white head, moderate lacing. Aroma of cherry soda. Taste has a bitter hop background, with sweet fruit overlay. Taste likes a bad beer with cherry syrup added. There was no drain nearby, so I just left it on the bar.

lamas (1069) - Washington DC, USA - APR 7, 2010
Draft at Downtown location on 04/06/10. Arrived at the table an amber/light mahogany color with a skim of a tan head. A sweet aroma of Red Delicious apples, overly ripe cherries, a bit of caramel, some slightly tangy yeastiness, and grapefruits in the background. Medium-bodied. The flavor starts with light caramel and some Red Delicious apples. Overly ripe and very sweet cherries follow along with a yeastiness. Some grapefruits at the end. The taste is pretty sweet with a good deal of candied sugar all the way through. Pleasant enough to have another.

Ruby red, off white cover. Aroma is lacking, just some faint sweetness. Taste is sweet and fruity, but not specifically cherries.
