fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - NOV 25, 2007
Draught at the brewpub, Downtown location
Hazy blond color. Some honey aroma. Good mouthfeel, malt flavor, and a good hopping. Good Golden Ale, more bodied than the English ones. The hopping is good, and the final is long.

argo0 (9224) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 30, 2007
(Capitol Hill) Lightly hazed apple juice body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, citrus/lemon, some grassy. Taste is medium sweet, grassy/lemon, some grapefruit. Fairly bitter, especially for the style. Light-medium body, light acidity, quite drinkable.

Stine (1399) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2007
Downtown location. Hazy, golden yellow pour. Aroma is quiet, and fairly sweet. Banana, straw, citrus and dry yerba leaves. Taste has a heavily papery disposition. Apricots layer thickly over a crystal construct. Grapefruit and iced black tea bitterness define this. The wet paper press in the mouth has a kind of green smoothness, like wheat grass. Softly prickly, creamy and slightly thin. Distant citrus finish. Refreshing, and quite nice.

3fourths (6399) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 24, 2007
Appearance is a cloudy, milky yellow and orange body. Palate is quite smooth and light, with some, with a combination of bitter, dry hops and a buttery, oily texture, finally tingling on the back of the tongue in the finish. Overall quite sweet, and a little bit twangy, with some toast and bread flavors (which seems to be the usual at Capitol City), but also some pretty nice hay and fresh grass flavors. I’d drink this over a lot of their other beers.
