(Capitol Hill) Beige head atop clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, light caramel, lemon. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some caramel, lemon. Fairly bitter. Medium body, some chewiness.

Clear and amber pour. Lovely aroma both dark and bright with tones of strawberry, raspberry and honey. A rich and lively song. Brown sugar and pastry. Rich fruit flavors suffuse a very starchy biscuit body; rather like a cranberry orange muffin with a tint of alcohol. Citrus and jam, with a very full crystal and caramel malt strength at the core. Slightest hints of pine and salt. Zesty and rich, finishing with a crystal note of bitter earl grey. It’s actually quite close to full-bodied, with heavy carbonation. Bitterness pulses and fades very slowly. Surprisingly, very solid, hearty and unique.
