2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 nimbleprop (2226) - SouthWest, Washington, USA - AUG 13, 2008
Had this on tap at the Capitol City Midtown location. Served in a pint glass with a creamy, foamy slightly beige head. Body is hazy, amber with yellow hues. Fairly standard aroma, lemons and oranges with a bit of mass produced bread. Flavor was very bitter, obviously, with lemons and oranges, a little bread east and some light fruits. Finish is watery which was a bit of a turn off since there wasn’t much mouth puckering bitterness. Average, drinkable but unremarkable.

Nothing special about it is popping into my head at the moment.

Tap at Union Station. This beer looks like mud. Browny amber cloudy mud. Nose was sour, toffee malty. Some orange. Hoppy balance. Standard balance in the mouth, slightly malty. Mouthfeel is thin and not pleasant. Don’t think this was in the best condition.

It was alright... fairly standard but unoffensive. Great for the bitter style though.
