English style imperial stout. Blended with 10#ís of Sumatra coffee, this ale has a full body and medium bitterness. A big coffee aroma rounds out the finish. Aged in Jack Daniels Whiskey barrels for 4 months.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, vanilla, oak, a hint of bourbon, chocolate. Flavor features the bourbon, oaky and malty notes up front with roasted coffee in the finish. Could have a little more coffee flavors but itís quite good. 7/4/8/4/15 (3.8/5)

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2012 Draft at SAVOR. I really enjoy the base beer, so I wasnít sure what I would be expecting with this particular brew. Since the beer was aged in Jack Daniels barrels, the barrel and whiskey has overtaken the coffee aromas and flavors. The beer is potent - you get a nice whiskey "burn" - but it remains pretty smooth. A little less complex than the base beer - probably because the barrel takes over a lot of the regular Fuelís characteristics. Enjoyed sipping this one.
