"Poured a dark golden nice head. Aroma of bananas and sweet malt with some honey. Flavor has a nutty, wheat malts and yeast. Was an okay weizenbock. Could have been better."

Draught at Capitol City, Downtown, DC. hazy golden colour with a slim white head. Sweet and fruity with a touch of caramel. Full bodied, surprisingly drinkable. An American Weizen Bock would however, be a better descriptor.

Capitol Hill brewpub. Deep golden body with a medium thick, white head. Aroma of sautéed bananas and sweet malt and honey tones. Flavor has a nutty, shredded wheat aspect and some prominent Belgian yeast characters. Fairly sweet, but tasty. I enjoyed my pint of this. Decent American weizen bock, although it could be drier.

RFD Holidaze. From Cap City Shirlington. A nice light orange bock. The flavors were dark and just a touch spicy. Had a dirty finish, almost stemmy. Average
