Flat brown color, no head. Spicing and hops smell a little generic and "off". More metallic than most Cap City beers on the tongue. Short finish and unimpresiver treatment of the malts. Nearly undetectable hopping and cereals.

Kicked the keg @ Capital Hill. Filtered and clear medium walnut brown. Nose of burnt toast and bran, flavor of bran/dog food, wheat germ, cereal grains, more burnt toast, some chestnuts, texture is dry, pasty, coarse. Blah.
