COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
The Endeavour was originally brewed as a one off special beer to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brewery. Due to it’s sheer popularity, the beer is now being brewed as a regular ale for the pub. The beer itself is a mid-brown strong tasting bitter.

Cask Handpump at the Crown Inn, Stockport 26/02/2011 Floral and malt aromas. Small white head. Bronze coloured and fruity. A little rich on the palate with a hint of bitterness in a slightly grainy malt finish.

Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival on 23 February 2011. Clear dark red / copper colour. Very fruity and distinctly on the sweet side. Some balancing bitterness, persisting quite assertively in the aftertaste. Not really my preferred style of bitter but not bad.

Bottle. Copper coloured with an off-white head. Aromas are toffee malts with earthy hops and blackberry. Quite fruity with some wet cardboard. Yeasty, peppery and dusty. Flavours are sweet toffee and berries with bready yeast. Dry on the finish with some grapefruit bitterness.

[cask at the Guildford Arms, Edinburgh] Pours a deep caramel brown with a thin white head. Fruity malt aromas quite heavy from this one, decent malt backbone on the palate. Soft fruity aftertaste, some caramel sweetness [22012011]
