Bottle shared by Ari, thanks! Pours a clear very dark amber with a light brown head that dissipates completely and quickly. Aroma has a good amount of acid with sour grapes and a touch of stone fruits. Flavor has a nice sour red fruit and grapes with a good amount of acid that remains throughout the finish.

Nutty, chocolate covered cherries and heavy vinegar. A lot of complex flavors in here but its too acidic imo. The vinegar punches you in the mouth while youre trying to enjoy the other complex flavors. Good but not great.

Bottle. Black in color with a small khaki head. Looks like a dark tomme that also smells better. Smells like blackberries. I’m drunk, but damn this tastes delicious. Boys, this is better than a shit hawk hitting a shitfan.

Thanks to Maltajo for the bottle. Pours black with a thin off white head. Tart grapes and some hints of roasted grain and lemon acidity in the aroma. Taste is clean malt, lemon, roasted grain and tart grapes with hints of barrel poking though. Pretty good.

Pours jet black with no head. Aroma of vinegar, wine, lacto and funk. Taste follows, very acidic, vinous and funky. Finishes malty and roasty. Not my favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle huge thanks to Jimmie for sharing. Pours out almost pitch black with a fading off white head. Aroma is complex; notes of tart dried fruits, oak, berries, light sweetness, vinegar and some lingering earthy notes. Taste is complex, nice sour tartness blends with lots of dried fruits, fig, soaked raisins, oak, mild notes of more tartness, some acidity and more berries come in on the end. No telling the beer is 10%. One again a world class sour from Scott and Co. Well done!

375 ml bottle (shared with the Mrs.) to snifter. Looks good; dark like the base (although not black) with thin tan lacing. Smells good too, sweet, spicy, and FUNKY! Tastes like it smells with nice balance, sour notes, and a pleasant, tart and dry mouthfeel. Nice!

Bottle courtesy of Vinny shared at pats place - the last horah with pat, vin, Moreau, Schaefer, and Sean. Pours a dark red wine body with light lacing. Aroma is cherry, vinegar, light funk, and sweet roasted malts. Mouthfeel is light with notes of cherry vinigrette, funk, lactic, oak and light musk.

Bottle... Murky dark brown ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aromatic highlights are caramel, red wine vinegar, oak and funky socks. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and subdued carbonation. The flavor furnishes a tart melange of lactic acid, deeply roasted malts and light acetity with a nice toasted oak component. Yeasty, woody bitterness in the finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!
