COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the result of a lot of patience and a lot of experimentation. It took us over 4 years to build up a reserve of barrel aged beers from which to pull from to create the beer you hold in your hands. A blend of several barrels ranging in age from 2 to 3 years old. The resulting beer is tart, oaky and very unique.

Editors note: 750ml bottle, and having a label marked FO/BB that states it was bottled 2/10.
Released in April 2011, 1200 bottles.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co., London, thanks to Mike! Pours cloudy, ruby-brown with a creamy, off-white head. Big tangy wood nose, some vinegar. Good,s turdy sour flavor, lots of wet wood, prunes, nice acidic burn, medium sweetness, other tangy fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sour burn finish, further tangy wood notes, light dryness, tart fruits, berries. Good balance. Nice.

Sample at EBF 2015 Pours slightly hazy blond with low white head. Taste is of sourness, lactic? Acetic? Palate: Soft-medium carbonation. Light-medium body. Overall: Very nice. Under controll, nice blend.

sample @ EBF 2015. unclear dark golden, amber, light brown tint, with a small light beige cap, some retention and lacing. cherry bretty fruitiness, other red fruits, some raspberry and plum vinegar - never overwhelming - light yet linear acidity; some sweetish woodsy brown maltiness, lots of barrel spices, pepper. light carbonation, light body - oily; semi-sweet lightly tart/astringent and woodsy-spicy finish. could be a tad dryer. still nice.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2015 Pour at EBF 2015. Pour is a clear brown with a small offwhite head. Light vinegar on the nose and fruits, pleasing. Taste is fruity, lightly sweet and not too acetic or acid, even. Gentle. Light-medium bodied, medium carbonation. Good but a bit less than what I was expecting.

Bottle at home. Pours clear light amber with no head. Lactic nose, cherries. High acidity in the body, some wood impression which is quickly undone by the lactic character. Some fruit sour in the taste... Dissapointing.

Poured a dark amber red color from the bottle with aromas of light cherries some wood, light grain and some funk. Flavors follow suit little off aftertaste built still a decent beer overall.

Bottle at RBSG 2010 shared by j12601 I believe. Pours a hazy brown color with a large tan head. The aroma had a nice tart fruity aroma favoring cherries and berries with mild funk, caramel and a light woody notes. The flavor had tart cherries, berries, wood, caramel and a light musty funk. I would have liked to try this again, but it hasn’t happened to date.

Lukaduke (2686) - Gray, Maine, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Pours a rusty murky brown color with a finger of eggshell foam. The nose is deep tart cherry, cider vinegar, old wood and cocoa dust. The palate follows with lots of vinous cherry notes wet woody notes and some roasted malt, a touch a acetic burn in the throat keeps me from loving this beer but it is enjoyable.

Pours a hazy ruby/amber with a thin tan head. Aroma has mild oak and tart cherry...mild oak...very nice but a hint of generic. Flavor has nice mildly tart cherry...very vinous...mild oak mouthfeel is light and the finish is oaky and vinous with faint cherry.
