Bottle shared by Ari, thanks! Pours a very cloudy amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light sour cherry note with a bit of backing oak and funk. Flavor starts with a nice sour cherry note with a bit of barrel and a light funk note that come out in the finish.

Bottle that I took to Paulís for the Blind Stout tasting. Pours a lighty hazy ruby tinged brown with a thin beige head. Acetone and cherries on the nose, soft vinegar musk. Musk and acetone with a nice bit of malt and cherries. Warm sour acid and a bit more acetone and vinegar into the finish. Long tartness into the finish with more acetone and sour malt. Interesting, but a bit too much acetone in here.

750 ml bottle shared by b3shine- thanks, Beau! Red wax-dipped, so itís this version, not the Barrel Select Cherry. Pours a hazy reddish-brown, very murky, with no head. Aroma of tart cherries, lemon, oaky funk, vinegar, earth, and spice. Flavor of soap, lemon, tart cherries, oak, grapes. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a sour, funky mouthfeel. Not my favorite take on a cherry sour.

750ml bottle, shared by b3shine. Hazy raspberry rosy light brown color, nice gradient. Little off-white head, couple loose bits of lace. Tart, spicy taste. Light bite to it, but I donít mind. Big wood, some cherry. Bigger body. Light sticky texture. Light carbonation. Decent fruity sour.

Bottle at Paulís tasting. Pours hazy amber with a thin head. Tart and acidic, with cherry, light wheaty notes, and a dry and tart finish. Good stuff.

Sampled at the CCB/RateBeer/Pre-Hunah Tasting (Tampa, FL). Shared by Al Alvarez, boy! Pours a rich well hazed pour, brownish and mellow glow on the edges. A frothy tannish head atop laces ok. Aromas are cherries, toffee, toast. Some oak, gentle vinegar, red wine, faint balsamic. Really in check, well done. Initial is richly done, sour cherries, red wine, balsamic, and nice oak. Gentle vanilla, touches of sour fruit take hold. Nice sour element, red wine, some vinegar. Touches of sourness, richer red wine flavor into the backend. Nice richer flavors, more balanced as far as the acidity, good cherry flavors, red wine. Finish is tart, red wine, oak. Nice beer. Thanks, guys!

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by me with the group). Looks good; a cloudy orangish-brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells tart with notes of cherries and light nail polish remover. Tastes like it smells without the nail polish. Good on the palate. Plug your nose and drink up!
