750 ml courtesy of dmac, I think. Thanks man! Pours a rich dulled copper brown hue, glowing red deeper hues and murky body. A frothy tannish rings sits atop and laces small. Sticks around as a firm ring. Aromas are touches of gentle vinegar, oak, and mellow sour cherry kick. Some biscuity malts, vanilla, oak. More gentle vinegar, rust, and some linger barrel tannins, a touch of red wine. Cherries are sweet and tart. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied with some mellow sweetness. Tart cherries, red sweet cherries, touches of biscuits, lactic acid. Touches of mellow vinegar, mellow oak. A big vague in intensity. Mellow tart cherries, mellow red wine tannins hit the palate a bit. Touches of biscuits, mellow toast, and some dryness, lactic acid linger into the finish. Cherry skins. Quite drinkable but as far as complexity or flavor oomph, it’s a bit lacking.

(Bottle courtesy of Brandon). Pours a cloudy red-orange color with white head. Aroma had some cherries, but also some rubber-bandaid going on. Taste had some tart cherris and a bit of sweetness. Not that bad, but it didn’t go over all the well at the tasting. Too bad.

Pours copper with amber hues and white head. The aroma offers up stale malts, cherries and muted to vague sort of tartness. The taste has all too brief moments of sweet cherry juice and a cherry fruit meat quality before firm tartness ramps up into some puckering acidity. Overall this is mostly tart and watery with some searing acidity around the edges. Basically too harsh for me.

Tasting at Paul’s. The aroma is vinegar, tart cherries. The appearance is a hazy amber. The flavor is vinegar, tart cherry. The finish is sour, vinegar, some tart cherry. Decent. But not interesting. The acidity of the beer caused a sourness overwhelming the other things that might have been going on.

bottle poured a red amber in color with a big two finger tan head that quickly fell to a ring on the glass. aroma has light acidity, earthy cherry, oak, brett brown, and some alcohol. mouth feel is light and there is a fair amount of carbonation. flavor has tart cherry, earthy minerals, medium acidity, brett, oak, and finishes very dry. I just do not know what happened here this does not have the body of the other beers and the cherry and brett do not seem to get along. I have had this twice before and at the release this was not the best but it was better than this bottle.

Bottle courtesy of dcschiller @ Woodshed 1.0! Rubber, acetone, adhesive, and a hint of cherry find their way to the beer. Aroma shows more of the beer’s intent. This brewer has had some epic wins and miserable failures...unfortunately, the latter is the norm.

Cloudy reddish pour. Aroma of bandaids, cherry, yeast. Flavor is sweet/tart bandaid, not the best, not the worst.

Thanks jcwattsrugger for sharing this one! 750 ml. Bottle pour. Murky amberish color. Nice tart cherry. Some oak. Funky but not mouth puckering. Enjoyed.
