Growler from Decicco. Pale golden with white head and lace. Bright lemony hoppy aroma. Tangy dry honey lemon mile biscuit with citrus hop medium bitter finish. Fairly complex. Very much like a top notch American pale ale. Almost like the second runnings of the IPA. Not a wheat beer in character. Very good.

Draft at Paradiso Dupont, courtesy of RJ, thank you sir! Cloudy yellow color. Aroma of citrus > pineapple > flowers. Taste is slightly funky farmhouse lemon. Nice.

LL edition. This one varied quite a bit from the one last year especially since its more of a pale/wheat offering. The color is pretty light, not quite adjunct lager light, but looks refreshing. A heavier citrus/grapfruit on the nose than I was expecting. Palate followed through with big citrus and acidity mid palate, but the finish was super long with bright flavors. I’m fairly confused if this is really a good beer for the warm summer months, looks refreshing but ends up being a bit heavier. Decent offering.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. The pour is a barely hazy golden with a medium, off-white head. Decent white lace. Nose at first is lemon cough drops and lemon candy. Taste is buttery biscuit, full malty, thick-bodied with grassy bitterness. Not really citrusy like I was expecting. Grassy bitterness adds balance to what was presented on tap as being a Wheat IPA, but clearly is just a simple, well-made wheat ale. Spending more time with it, the taste gains gritty, cornbread rustic fullness and buttery body without any diacetyl slickness. Sorachi Ace hops add a meaty melon note like jackfruit in the back end. Very enjoyable.
