On tap at barcade. Less wheaty than ipa-y. Really nice lemony note too. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Hunahpuh day...forgot who brought this out but thank you whoever you are. Hazy, honey-gold. Mild, understated, dry aroma of kumquat peel, grapefruit pith, and a bushel of raw, earthy hops. Soft, very hoppy palate that mellows out at the end. Brilliant hop character. Oodles of fun. Could drink a lot of this. Memorable.

Bomber bottle right from the brewery in Elmsford NY. Nice cloudy golden pour with a thin head an very nice lacing. Thick delicious fruity twang with lime and ginger. A very refreashing brew! Thanx Scott!

On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso - Dupont. Served in a skinny pint glass. Pours a slightly-hazed very light golden color with a good-sized white head and some nice spotty lacing as it goes down. The nose carries the distinct markings of Amarillo hops with some really nice floral and citrus notes. The flavor takes it up a notch with a touch of wheat and accompanying feel plus a major hop presence. Light body with crisp carbonation and an absolutely-gorgeous lingering bitterness on the palate that I can still feel 5-plus minutes after my last sip. Simply astounding. In my opinion, this beer has just taken the torch from Gumballhead. Bravo, Captain Lawrence. EDIT: Apparently this is brewed with Citra, Sorachi Ace, and lemon peel. Well, that combination tastes a hell of a lot like Amarillo to me. Either way, very good stuff. Serving type: on-tap

Bottle from DeCecios for Saturday afternoon. Pours yellow with nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Smells delicious of citrus and hops. Tastes of lemon peel, hoppy, cloves, banana, herbs, and floral. It’s quick drying on palate and clean and crisp. Great.

Growler from DeCicco’s, shared with Max, Andy, and Pearl prior to departing on our road trip. Pours a hazed gold with a small white head. Sweet lemon and citrus, dusty lemon peel. Slightly sweet, dusty lemon and citrus, soft wheat. More lemon on the finish, crisp and clean, a touch of sweetness. Quite nice.

Joe is the man! Love the tropical fruit aromas, light caramel and wheat. Flavor is smooth, light lemon, grainy notes, caramel, honey. Great stuff!

bottle recently purchased poured a light golden color with a one finger white head that took a bit of coaxing to get going. aroma has lemon rind, white pepper, yeast, and some wheat. mouth feel is on the lighter side and there is light carbonation. flavor has a nice wheat core, slightly bitter hops, lemon rind, pepper, and a clean yeast. it finishes nicely and it lingers on for a minute. this must have been a hell of a beer when first bottled and the lemon zest flavors still are pretty juicy.

Hazy blonde. Thin head. Dusty yeast and floral hops make for a fun, perfumey aroma. Dry. Spicy, with more floral, citrusy hops. Good brew, nicely balanced with a slightly minerally mouthfeel. Not the usual humble wheat ale, that’s for sure.

GABF 2011 - intense nose of lime and lemon rind, lemongrass, wheat and pepper - flavor is peppery heat, strong, fresh lime and mint, tangy wheat - fresh, grassy, zesty citrus finish - well done.
