3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 bugsizzy (37) - USA - SEP 8, 2012
Refreshing and clean. The appearance didn't impress too much with little or no head and very thin light yellow appearance. But the flavor won me over. Clean, crisp and well balanced. Fizzy, light malt and spice flavored. Favorite hot weather beer for me this summer

Keg @ Captain Lawrence. The pour’s deep gold with a thick white head. The nose is simple sweet grains, lightly peppery noble hops. The taste is honeyed bread, hints of pissy lemon. Solid grains. Refreshing and clean. Watery (not in a bad way). Light. This went down well on a hot day.

Growler shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer appears transparent and light yellow in color. The white head is a quarter inch thick and leaves a fair amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is of mild citrus and lightly toasted bread. The beer is fairly well balanced and light on the palate. The flavor has a subtle oddness about it, reminiscent of over-cooked vegetables. This is masked to some degree by the more pleasant flavors the beer has to offer. This would be a decent warm weather beer.

Bottle. This pours a yellow-gold color with a thin white head. Spotty lacing left on the glass. The aroma shows corn, barnyard hay, and citrus. Easy drinking with flavors of citrus, sweet floral notes, soft herbal tea, straw, and crackery malt notes. Slick and velvety in the mouth. A touch on the sweet side but some hops counter that a bit. This is a pretty good, refreshing, summer brew.
