3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer appears transparent and light yellow in color. The white head is a quarter inch thick and leaves a fair amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is of mild citrus and lightly toasted bread. The beer is fairly well balanced and light on the palate. The flavor has a subtle oddness about it, reminiscent of over-cooked vegetables. This is masked to some degree by the more pleasant flavors the beer has to offer. This would be a decent warm weather beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. This pours a yellow-gold color with a thin white head. Spotty lacing left on the glass. The aroma shows corn, barnyard hay, and citrus. Easy drinking with flavors of citrus, sweet floral notes, soft herbal tea, straw, and crackery malt notes. Slick and velvety in the mouth. A touch on the sweet side but some hops counter that a bit. This is a pretty good, refreshing, summer brew.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden with small white head, active carbonation, and minimal lacing. Aroma includes grass, toast, and a hint of lemon zest. Taste is similar, predominantly malt with notes of honey, black pepper, and citrus. Very drinkable and refreshing with bubbly carbonation that is enjoyable in the mouth.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz bottle into a tall pilsner glass. Date unknown, but it has the newer style logo cap AND its the first time I’ve seen six packs in CT so I assume its on the fresher side of things.
A - Crystal clear dark straw yellow body with rising carbonation. Bone white three finger head forms and sizzles down to a nice one finger high head with large bubbles. Moderate amount of lacing and retention.
S - Very spicy. Coriander, lemons, grass, bubble gum, and some floral qualities. Earthy with a bit of a dough like finish.
T - Really transcends the line between sweet and spice. It goes back and forth between honey, cracker malts, peppercorn, coriander, bubble gum, and fruity hops. Crazy delicious and easy drinking. Medium to light mouth feel with just the right amount of crisp carbonation.
O - I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by this one, but I kind of was. Extremely delicious hot weather beer full of flavor. I’m a noob to the kolsch style, but this is a winner in my book. So glad to have this in six pack format.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is one of my favorite styles, especially this time of year. 12oz bottle, no date that I could see, poured into a stemmed lager-glass. Pours a straw gold with a thin white cap. Fair spotty lace clings to the glass. The aroma is earthy and "green." Slight veggie scent, with a bit of green hops.
Cool crisp bite to this. Carbonation level uplifts this "light" beer making this one quite zippy and refreshing. Great flavor profile of mild bittering hops, creamed corn, fresh bread - all melded together beautifully. This beer really hit the spot. Were this a local offering, I’d have a sixer of this on hand most anytime during these warm months.
