Multiple draught samples at several bars in Manhattan. Pours gold with a white head. Smells breaddy and lighty fruity. Tastes floral and semi-dry with some straw elements.

Pours somewhat cloudy. Golden color with bright white head. The aroma is filled with sweet fruits, some white bread, and a mild earthiness. The flavors are wonderfully mouthcoating for the style. Apples, mild hop bitterness, an almost buttery quality as well, but really crisp and clean. Great Spring beer.

Thanks to local beers trade partner for this one. Psyched to try it! Pours a clear yellow-gold with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, light grass, mild fruit, and some yeast. Flavor follows the nose with some malt, yeast, and mild grassy hops. Finish lingers with yeast. Light in body and very sessionable and refreshing.

Early afternoon imperial pint from Mugs Alehouse in Brooklyn. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Crisp hops on the nose and a mild honey sweetness. Taste is pleasant crispness as well. Mild floral quality. Perfect for 1pm.

Bottle/draft in the past. Light golden pour with white head. Light malt and fruit like aromas. Flavor is light but not lacking, could definitely drink this for a while. Nice session brew.

Aroma is yeast, grains and a hint of a hard to describe spiciness. The flavor is mildly sweet malts/grains and a dry and mildly hoppy finish.

Bottel in NYC sept 2012. Clear golden beer with a big offwhite creamy head. Malty, spicy, bready, citrus and hoppy aroma. Smiliar flavour.

Had on tap at a local pub, poured into a cheater pint.
A: nice straw yellow, slick 1/2" head with decent retention, reduces to a cap
S: neutral scent, slightly sweet, mild floral
T: nice biscuity and grain sweetness well balanced with flowery hops
M&d: as expected, ligh mouth. Excelllent drinkability. Kolschs are the shit and this is an excellent example.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of lemon peel and grass. Light gold, white head. I taste citrus, floral hops along with toasted malt and sugar/spice notes. Dry and refreshing, lager-y feel. Well done.
