4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample draft at the brewery. Pours a clean gold with average white head and blanket lacing. Nose of pine, pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit. Iíve had this in bottles that were not fresh. This is really good when fresh. Lots of citrus and pine.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear light orangish gold with creamy whitish lasting 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are citrus floral hops with hints of sweet pale, caramel malts. Clean yeasts profile and no alcohol present. Taste are pine, lemon, orange, grapefruit and slight burn of alcohol. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with meduim body, then lasting citrusy piney Warming finish. I was hoping for a little more...

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Papa Jakeís in Buffalo, NY. Was billed as just "Imperial IPA", but Iím assuming this is it. Poured a nice clear golden-orange. Had a sweet but boozy feel to it. Slightly floral, I thought. Nice and hoppy, but actually tasted boozier (is that a word?) than I was expecting. Good beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - thanks to blklab2007. Pours clear golden with a large fluffy white head that slowly dissipates leaving clumpy lacing. Aroma is floral, citrus, resin, a note of lemon Pledge. Flavor is about the same, little sweetness and strong bitterness lingering through the finish. Medium bodied, some mouth creaminess. Not bad at all, but another IIPA that is (gasp!) a bit too bitter for my taste. Bitterness recedes after the first few sips deaden the tastebuds and it becomes more drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Coleís in Buffalo. Pours dark amber with slight head. Great aroma of floral and citrus hops. Taste is medium bitter and seems light for an imperial - very drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From notes - Snifter pour of beautiful rich gold liquid with full finger head. Nose is super crisp, hoppy and bitter. Floral notes come through with nice citrus and fresh cut grass. Flavor is much more floral/flowery, with bitterness and hoppiness coming right through. Follows nose and is also quite grassy. Loving this one!. Lighter body and really enjoyable. What a beautiful IPA!

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Oddly clear for a dbl pale golden with a tall white well laced thick head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit some tropical fruits a hint of strawberry along with a sweet caramel. Avg pal a bit dry and sticky. Flavor is milder than expected. Finishing bitter dry piney grassy hops the front is to brief and lacks some punch has some fruity notes a good amount of cereal... OK. Certainly not as good as I expected from past ratings.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Meant to share this with Matt, but I dropped it and lost half the bottle. This review is from the half I had to "force down" last night. When life hands you lemons (or half full bottles of fresh IPA)...Now I have to stop at Captain Lawrence again on my way home...shucks.
Anyhow...the beer is golden hued with over an inch of white head. The aroma offers fresh hops and pine. Smells nice. The flavor is certainly fresh, with nice resinous pine and hop notes with a subtle touch of citrus.
A slight alcohol burn / boozy finish, but nothing that really gets in the way.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed this beer, and would have it again.
