3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was honey red gold with creamy lasting off white 2 finger head, rings of lace. Aromas are sweet pale malts, pine, citrus fruits, no alcohol present. Taste was slight sweet 2-row malt backbone with pine, lemon, grapefruit and orange and resin. Palate was creamy smooth CO2 with meduim body, then a long piney, citrusy resinous finish. A classic sticky pale made in the east coast. Thx beer buddy.

Bottle. Lots of garlic in this one. Seems like old hops, otherwise classic American pale ale. Not very enticing through lack of fine aromatics. Rough vegetables instead.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A mid gold coloured beer with a weak white head. A light hop aroma, citrusy and grassy. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is hoppy, bitter and grassy, some citrus fruit and a touch floral in the background. There is a mild malt flavour in the finish that balances the hoppiness. Draught @ The Beer Authority, New York.

19.02.2015. 0,355l Bottle. From Bread & Butter, New York. Amber golden colour with off-whita head. Very bitter and rich. Notes of grass and hay. There is also a pretty desent aroma of darker malts. Very dry mouthfeel gives a fresh, but kind of heavy beer. Aftertaste is dry bitter with more malts and grass. At the end there is that ripe fruits dryness.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. BOTTLED 12032013 (!)
App.: Clear light amber with a decent, fluffy, off-white head.
Aroma: Fruity hops, grapefruit, lightly peppery, fairly forward melanoidin/caramel maltiness, a little dusty.
Palate: Medium body and medium-ish carbonation.
Flav.: Mostly citrusy hops, a little flat compared to the nose, herbal, slightly floral, reasonable Vienna/Munich malt with some graininess; dry with fair bitterness and a kinda dusty, vague finish.
Too old, too bad.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose is heavy on the caramel and pine, doughy and somewhat spicy. Pours hazy copper with abundant carbonation and a large sudsy beige head. Taste only lightly sweet with light bitterness, lightly grainy under the citrus but not too bad, green leafy hops character on par with the strong caramel, which is dominant here, and lesser pine. Crisp, clean, refreshing, but I’m not returning its calls.
