COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of the first beers I brewed after moving out to California to begin my brewing education was a Pale Ale. This version is a true testament to the influences the Wild West had on my early brewing. My Pale Ale is loaded with US-grown Cascade, Crystal, and Columbus hops, so be sure to take a good sniff to enjoy their robust aromas before taking your first sip. Sensory Profile: An aromatic beer with notes of citrus, pine, a noticeable bitterness, and a touch of malty backbone to help balance it out. Food Pairing: Foods with a spicy kick are a great match, as the bitterness of the hops will help to cool the palate before your next bite. Mexican food and pizza are natural matches.

Gold, thin white head. Nose is caramel, piney hops, very light caramel, some fruit. Flavor is grass & pine, caramel, a bit of cheese. Some meladonins come through in the finish with brown sugar & pine.

Copper in appearance with some slight red. Medum sized off-white head. Aroma is of yeasty bread with flowery and fruity hops. The taste is slightly sweet with a good balance of bitterness in the finish. Well carbonated for nice and easy drinking.

Very nice looking with a super fresh soapy soft mouthfeel. A thin aroma of grassy and citrus hops. Flavor is fairly sweet with an odd woody vegetal bitterness. Also pine and grapefruit notes. Maybe it is my palate today but otherwise always a pleasure to find on tap.

Pours a reddish color with a small head

The aroma is a bunch of fruit forward hops, some catty aromas (in a good way) and some pine. This is not without some well controlled caramel and malty character.

The flavor is nicely bitter & more spicy and grapefruity than anything. The caramel is notably lower in the flavor than the aroma but there is a good presence of toasty malt.

Pretty Delicious.

Tap @ FG with Erica. Pours dark, hazy yellow into shaker with small white head. Solid, medium-heavy hop profile in the aroma and palate. Not extremely bitter - fresh hop taste. A bit of bright citrus in there, and some more piney hop character. Very fresh, as the name suggests. Great pale ale.

12 oz. Bottle! Pours a dark amber color with a thick head that fades eventually. Crisp and hoppy. Very easy drinking and refreshing. Another good one

Bottled version served in a standard pint glass. Clear copper color with a white head that left decent lacing behind. The aroma is a balance of piney hops, some tropical fruit and caramel malt. The taste is also very balanced with a nice twang of bitterness on the back end. Crisp and refreshingly easy to drink. A darn good beer that I’ll probably be drinking a lot of this summer.

Dark honey hue with a small eggshell head. Lots of caramel, toffee, and candied citrus in here. Not at all biting. Missing the assertive resin and grapefruit indicative of the style. Pretty disappointing.

And very slight pine. M&d: very nice pale ale, good malt and bitterness. Well balanced, slight drying mouth. What a refreshing beer.

Tap @ Captain Lawrence... A golden pour with a mild forming, white head. Earthy and grainy. Quite malty with low bitterness. Very drinkable and simple. Notes of earthy hop spice and citrus.

Draft at Gingerman. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel. Medium bodied, pleasantly bitter, crisp and clean finish. Nice Pale Ale.
