COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian style amber with ginger added. It is a malty and fruity beer with hints of ginger in the nose and in the flavor. Low in bitterness, dominated by the malt and flavors of the yeast. Brewed exclusively for the Ginger Man restaurant group in NYC and Connecticut.

Tap @ On Tap w Andy, Streets and James. Dark pour for the style, which was cool. Aroma is nothing out of the ordinary but not bad. Palate is banana and wheat - straight-forward. Ok beer.

Tap at ginger man w/yespr - smells like chinese food, hint of skunk, crackery grains. Caramel malts. A bit throat tingling. Tasty, but ginger is clearly overdone.

Pint on tap at Ginger Man in NYC. This is really a novelty/change of pace drink. Donít expect it to really stand out in quality among other beers. especially given the selection of top notch brews at Ginger Man. Nevertheless, this is a good beer. Light amber appearance, not too much head. Aroma is very malty with no floral hop character noted. Ginger also prominent, as expected. Taste is identical to the aroma- kind of a bland maltiness with subtle but stong ginger taste. Palate is crisp and dry. Low alcohol content noticeable. Nice to drink when you are at the Ginger Man, good change of pace.

On tap at Ginger Man NYC. Poured a clear amber with an orange hue an a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma was full of ginger with a bit of sweet grain and bread backing. Flavor started with sweet grain but was quickly taken over by a strong ginger note that was backed by a bit of a bread note.

On tap at Ginger Man in NYC. Pours a clear golden color with a very small whitish head sitting on top. The aroma is very gingery along with bready malts and Belgian yeast, maybe slight citrus character. The flavor is heavy on ginger and spice with a good dry malty background, bready and crackery, with Belgian yeast and spiciness. Tingling on the mouthfeel from all the spices. Medium-bodied and dry with average carbonation. A moderately enjoyable beer but not one Iíd seek out again.
