A Belgian style amber with ginger added. It is a malty and fruity beer with hints of ginger in the nose and in the flavor. Low in bitterness, dominated by the malt and flavors of the yeast. Brewed exclusively for the Ginger Man restaurant group in NYC and Connecticut.

On tap at The Ginger Man in NYC. Pours a golden amber with a white head and aroma of spices and yeast. Taste is spicy as well, with cloves, wheat, ginger, and yeast leasing to a spicy finish.

With the family at The Ginger Man, Manhattan, pours a burnt orange pour with no head. Nose is typical Belgian with yeast, cloves and banana. Taste is full of Belgian yeast and heavy cloves.Finishes on the same notes. Fair at best. Quaff Score 6 / 10

2014-04-18. Crisp golden amber body with a small white head. Aroma is mild, ginger biscuity malt touches. Flavour is similar with a healthy dose of ginger. More biscuity bready malt with light Estery undercurrents follows. Average plus bodied palate, carbonation. Okay. On tap at Gingerman, NYC

Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Clear amber pour with a medium thin ivory white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, yeast and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, fruit and earthy yeast. The finish is malty with a short fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the ginger man. Pours clear brown with minimal head. The aroma is yeasty. The taste is light sweetness.. Some banana. The finish is lightly sweet. Better for my wife than I.

5.2%. Draught @ The Ginger Man, NYC. Pours clear amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops, and, yes, real ginger. Bitter, hoppy flavour with touches of ginger and seaweed. Bitter finish. Low carbonation. OK. Quite different from all other ginger beers I have tasted, but more interesting than good in the end.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 19.06.2013, tap @ The Ginger Man NY:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet and spiced, caramel malts, ginger, grass, toffee, cloves, sugar. Taste is slightly sweet grassy, light malts, grass, hay, caramel, ginger, leafs, hints of spices and soil. Medium bitterness. Fair enough, but I’d prefer way more ginger in it.
