Pours a hazy dark pink, verging on ruby red with a foamy white head. Loads of bubbles streaming up the side of the glass. The aroma has plenty of floral notes, sour cherries, red grapefruit, and a light Brett funkiness. The taste is nice and subtle. Itís sour, slightly bitter with a floral and citric backbone. Medium bodied and dry. A delicious, very easy to drink sour ale.

Bottle @ Gingerman with streets and James. Ruby red pour, nose of airy, fleeting red fruit. Palate is very subtle red fruit like strawberry and cherry. Tart yet not sour and not as robust or packed full of fruit as I was hoping. But that kept me sipping. James said it was much better on tap but heís a stupid butt.

Big thanks to Huhzubendah for sharing this one. Served in a Captain Lawrence cervoise. Pours a nice, bright pink color with a tall light pink head. Good retention and lacing. Wow, itís an elderflower beer that tastes good. More else and hibiscus. Very well done. Subtle and nuanced, but still pungent. Fairly tart.

Pours a bright pink salmon with a large creamy head. Nose is American wine barrel, tight brett, pretty bright, then a bouquet of herbal flowers. On first whiff it reminded me of Mamouche in a way which has elderflowers. Pretty dank nose overall. Mouth is pleasantly dry, a kind of very integrated dry white wine barrel with the tight brett. Finish is cracked pepper and fresh field flowers. I actually really like this, itís one of my favorite Captain Lawrence beers from recent memory.

Bottle with some Bros courtesy of Bill. Pours a murky pink with small head, medium light lacing. Aromas are floral all the way: hibiscus, elderberries, rose hips, sour fruit and light oak. So delicate but drinkable at the same time. What an amazing fruit beer, glad I have a few more bottles to try.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, first shared by Dmac. Pours out a pinkish/red framboise looking beer with a light pink head. Aroma is of mildly tart brett, funk, lots of sweet floral notes, rose water and light mothball; solid carbonation. Taste is of light sourness, mothball, funk, floral roses, light sweetness, a subdued funky, sour tart note resonates and finishes with slight tartness. Iíd like to see what some more time does to it.
