Bottle share thanks to Homer321. pours a hazy dark orange color. Tart, brett, hoppy, semisweet aroma. Initially tartness, semi sweet, light malty character, follows with a bit more tart and a moderate hop bitterness.

Bottle. Nose is grassy. Cloudy light red. Taste is literally like flowers and shrubs. Pretty fan tasty. Floral. Yup. Just like drinking flowers.

Pours a barely translucent dark amber with an eggshell head. Hoppy aroma has notes of rose and a hint of sour fruit. Sour flavor has rose and hoppy notes, and is not overly tart, just enough to be pleasant. Smooth, fairly firm texture is fairly fizzy. Rose hip beer? Warum nicht?

375mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a cloudy, opaque dark-ish orange with a medium off-white head. Nose brings out lots of oak barrels, some brett, lots of the flowers and hibiscus, and some vinous qualities. Flavour brings out the wine barrels and oak upfront, followed by hibiscus, flowers, and some bretty notes. An oaky vinous tartness on the finish. The barrel aging is the more prominent component compared to the hibiscus, rose hops and elder flowers, though the latter additions certainly add some nice subtleties. Carbonation is on the higher side, without being champagne-like. Excellent beer.

Nicely aged wild ale. Bountiful floral flavor. Easy to drink. Clean on the palate. Great beer.

Bottled: 05/2012 Pours a lovely rosy apricot ale with a sheet of bone white foam. Smells of mmmm, elderflowers, rosehips, some lemon zest, a little funk, some grapefruit pith and a little bit of hay. Tastes of baking soda, more floral tones, tart, some metal, a hint of ammonia and chalk. Flavor does not match the nose for me. A touch of peppercorn and the elderflower emerges as it warms. Body is really empty with low carb and a wet finish. This was a nice smelling beer, but the flavor did not deliver with the assertiveness the aroma produced. It was lacking in the body department as well. Serving type: bottle 12-23-2012

Bottle at Bruce’s new pad, big thanks to Leighton, 15/10/13. Hazed golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is light piss, dank tarte fruit, lemon dipped straw, bitter apricot. Taste comprises orange pith, earthy fruit tarteness, melon, tangy apricot. Medium bodied, crisp dry finale. Refreshing sour - decent.

Tasting at Bruce’s new pad. Thanks to Leighton for this tasty number. Hazy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, soft and airy, semi dry. Perfumey floralness and tangy fruity hibiscus. Lightly sour rose hips on the semi dry finish. Intertesting and tasty.

Holy shit. Pours a nice rosy pinkish brown. Great pink-white head. Laces very well. Aroma is tart and floral in all the best ways. Taste is bright, sweet flowers, tart and citrusy. Light and effervescent on the tongue. Just an amazing sour! I traded for this, and will look for it again!
