Light floral aroma in beginning. Pours golden clear with the name says. Well-balanced, but light Belgian. Some lacing, no head. Booze in the aroma. Finishes bitter with slight astringency. Tap at Blue Monk.

12 oz bottle courtesy of a box from BlackIPA. Thanks, Shawn. Pours a mellow hazed straw yellow hue, touch of golden glow, well carbonated body with frothy offwhite head, creamy mellow layers laces small, dies to a mellow ring. Aromas are bready malts, touch of dough and straw. More dry than expected off the bat, some earthy hops, bit of fruity ester show some apple and pear, orange fruit and rind. Gentle lotion, yeasty spice and dry yeasty element. Mellow Belgian influence grows a touch as it warms. Gentle coriander, white pepper, fruit, and spice. Initial is medium bodied, a bit dry and spicy up front, grainy and straw influence. Middle quickly moves into fruity esters, touch of dough, apple, and pear, citrusy orange comes in firmly. Gentle citrus rind, spicy yeast and some coriander. Gentle sweetness, almost a touch of a tart twang as we turn the corner. Mellow sweetness, bready and dough influence, fruity esters linger. A spicy, yeasty finish, a bit more dry with earthy hops, some lemon, orange and rind. A bit bitter, fruity, tart. Really goes through the ringer. A bit more of a firm body as we round the corner, spicy, dry, and more spicy earthy hops. Pretty solid to me. A bit girthy and spicy on the backend. It’s nice, just a bit overwhelming for me. Prefer a lighter more sessionable clean Belgian.

Accidentally brought back four of these from NYC. Only meant to grab two. Going to work out to the advantage to a few of my buddies back here in the Peach State. This pours a hazy amber with solid head. Smells grassy. The flavor notes are many, including grass, plums, honey, and citrus. Good mouthfeel. A fun beer. Would probably try again. On tap at the Blue Monk. A lighter Belgian ale. Pours deep yellow to golden colour with a minimum head. Carbonation bubbles. Yeast is the characteristic, as it warms I can distinguish a tad of funk, spiciness featuring clove.

Drought. Golden yellow color, off-white foamy small head, doughy aroma, sour yeast taste, abrupt finish. I would not rate this as liquid gold.

Not that great after a Hennepin. Nice yeasty nose. Fruity yeasty palate. Iron hops taste (German?) in the background. Ok.

On tap at blue monk captain Lawrence beer dinner. Clear and clean gold pour with a small white head. Smells sweet, a little floral, a bit of yeast. Tastes sweet up front, good yeast, coriander is there. Nice.

On tap at The Brass Rail, Hoboken. Sadly, poured into a shaker pint.
Clear golden pour with a fine bright white head. Good lacing.
Aroma is estery (clove). Much of the aroma was masked by the cold temperature of the pour.
Taste is cloves, juicy fruit gum, and a little banana. Biscuit malt. Light hop character.
Mouthfeel is a little slick. Nice carbonation.
Interesting ale. I wish that Brass Rail would work on not serving everything at lager temperatures. They have a nice craft selection that is hampered by cold temperature pours and crappy glassware.
