3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden yellow color, naturally. Puffy white head.
Aroma is Belgian spices, with some melted plastic phenols.
The flavor is some more of that plastic, but it’s also lots more spiciness, like Grains of Paradise.
Feels prickly. It’s a very light beer, full of flavor, some of it a little iffy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear gold with a medium silky white head. Aroma has some tropical fruits and mild yeasty spice. Flavor follows suit and adds a nice grassy/citrusy bitterness...fairly balanced and no one flavor dominates. Mouthfeel is light / medium and lively with a dry spicy/minerally/earthy finish. Very nicely done.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a large creamy-soapy yellow-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was coriander, lemon, cracker, tart, tangy, musty and yeasty with vague spices underneath. The flavor was tangy, tart and sour with lemon, pineapple, bread, must, vague spices and a strong yeasty presence. Long tart and tangy lemon and yeast finish. Medium body. Solid.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice large bright white head of fine bubbles. Reduces to a rocky topped foam head. Light and airy aroma with some fresh cut grass, lemons, cereal grains and some paper. Color is a light gold. Crisp lemony flavor with some straw, wheat, a bit of sickly sweetness that you might find in a golden dopplebock. Some pear and apples from the belgian yeast too. Light and crisp. Finishes a bit sweet. A decent belgian golden.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle pours clear pale gold with a finger of head. Nose is soft round spicy hay, banana, touch of citrus peel, some grain, apple, peppery yeast. Taste is clean, well balanced yeast spice and some soft grain and light bread, peppery hay, touch of wild grass. Finish is dry, spice, corn flakes, grain, belgian yeast. Well done, simple yet enjoyable Belgian style.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
This ale poured a light cloudy yellow colour with next to no head. Not a good egg smell. High carbonation with flavours of hops, wieners, yeast and cloves. Thin mouthfeel. Finish is lightly bitter with that Belgian yeast flavour lingering.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle, courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Poured a hazy straw color with a 1/2" white head and minimal lace. Belgian yeast and light spice aroma. Hint of clove. Taste hints at Belgian funk with bread dough. Some grapefruit and lemon zest. Interesting mix. Light in the mouth with aggressive carbonation on the tongue.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – Pours a very hazy yellowish-orange color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, hanging on for quite some time before fading away to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is nice and Belgian like with lots of grainy and wheaty malt and a big level of a yeasty smell. Along with these aromas comes other common Belgian smells with a nice lemon citrus, a good level of grass and banana, as well as some lighter spice aromas of clove and coriander. Overall the aroma is quite inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit malt flavor as well as some grassy and yeasty flavors straight from the start. There is a bit of sweetness of lighter fruits (tangerine and grape) as well as a lighter spice flavor of clove. As the taste advances the bready and sweet flavors remain relatively constant, with just a hint of a banana flavor joining the tongue. While the majority of the flavors remain constant, the grassy flavors kick it up even more at the end and are accompanied by some more sour lemon flavors as well as a light herb to leave a more bitter grassy Belgian pale ale flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the average to slightly chewier side with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. The creamier body was quite nice for the yeasty, wheat, and grainy flavors of the brew, while the carbonation kept it rather refreshing and crisp. Rather nice overall.
Overall – A decent Belgian Pale ale with a bit more grass and grain and a bit less banana and spice then the typical. Overall it is a bit drier in nature and a rather nice Belgian Pale ale to give a go too.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale straw yellow. Thin light head fades away quickly. Faint citrusy nose. Dry across the palate through the finish, and it lingers. Classic Belgian white spices. Great beer for a warm summer evening. Nicely done.
