Commercial Description:
One of the first beers I brewed after moving out to California to begin my brewing education was a Pale Ale. This version is a true testament to the influences the Wild West had on my early brewing. My Pale Ale is loaded with US-grown Cascade, Crystal, and Columbus hops, so be sure to take a good sniff to enjoy their robust aromas before taking your first sip. Sensory Profile: An aromatic beer with notes of citrus, pine, a noticeable bitterness, and a touch of malty backbone to help balance it out. Food Pairing: Foods with a spicy kick are a great match, as the bitterness of the hops will help to cool the palate before your next bite. Mexican food and pizza are natural matches.

draft @ kisco holiday inn - clear and dark amber; mildly bitter and dry; light bodied and thin texture; dry finish; enjoyable b/c it’s not one of those super hopped APA’s

Pours golden amber with thin white head and minimal lacing. Faint aroma, dry citrus hop bite and medium palate. Decent, well balanced pale ale.

Draft at the brewery. Good for a pale ale. Pours a light yellow straw golden body. Smells of some hops biterness, some pine, and citrus escapes the glass. LIght body and thin bitterness and some light malt.

On tap at the brewery. Copper with lasting head and lace. Piny citrus aroma. Mild malty sweetness with bracing hop bitterness. Medium body and carbo. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Hoppy nose and palate. Not really citrus hops. a bit floral and grassy. More of an IPA then and pale ale.

Had on tap at the brewery. Poured out a slightly hazy amber colour with a wispy white head. The aroma is full of fresh, citric and grassy hops and nutty malts. In the flavour the hops are spruce-like, with notes of pine and citrus adding to the complexity of the hoppiness. The malts are nutty with some notes of caramel and the presence of crystal malts makes it more complex, too. It is aromatic and well-rounded, not to mention easily quaffed. The mouthfeel was sharp and light bodied.
