COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with pureed pumpkins added directly to the mash, and pumpkin pie spices added at the end of the boil, this beer packs a ton of flavor into a malty and smooth amber colored ale. Perfect for when the weather starts to change and ugly sweaters come out of storage.

Growler courtesy Fred and his foresight to grab an extra growler. Nice pumpkin orange pour with little head. Very straight pumpkin aroma, not much spice but still hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Nice smooth malt taste with a slightly dry pumpkin flavor. Lack of so much spice lets the pumpkin stand out, a very tasty beer.

Tap at Barcade - a very straightforward pumpkin ale, albeit a little boring - aroma of sticky caramel, vegetal/squash-like character, and faint spices - a little dry - kind of thin on the palate - light pumpkin flavor, with nutmeg and cinnamon on top, taking most of the palate’s attention - lingering spiciness - meh - there are many better pumpkin ales out there.

Growler from Whole Foods Bowery. Dark amber decent head. Nice pumpkin and spice aroma. Solid toasty sweet malt foundation with mild hops. taste lacks some of the spice and pumpkin found in the aroma. Medium body. I wanted more pumkimn spice and creaminess in body.

Copper body with a bone color head that had no lace. Aroma was slightly spicy with a pleasant hop note. A good balance between mild pumpkin notes and some bitter hops, had a mild pumpkin pie spice note to it. Smooth and easy to drink.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Golden-amber color with a light head. Aroma is solid pumpkin with a spicyness to it that is quite attractive. Flavor is a nice mix of pumpkin and spice with sweet malts and light hops. Overall a pretty good pumpkin brew.

Thanks for the handbottle hophead75. Andrew knows I likes anything CL. Despite the handbottling I still get a one finger frothy yellowish head. Pours a very clean copper orange. The nose is very spicy, sweet, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, some pumpkin meat, leafy hop nose. Tastes sweet and spicy, very dry hop character that I wasn’t expecting, sweet but not cloying, pumpkin spices. Still nicely carbonated. Tasty.

Definite hop presence. Clear dark reddish amber color with a lighter head. Relatively minimal pumpkin presence. Spice and some noticeable sweetness. High drinkability.

growler from the brewery. Amber in color with a medium, nice retaining head with some mild lacing. Aroma is malty with some caramel and pumpkin spices. clean. Taste is has toasted malts, some light caramel sweetness with pumpkin spice and mild pumpkin flavor. Body is medium with good carbonation since it was from a growler. Clean and well made, very straightforward.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Some minor pumpkin spices in the aroma, very clean, full and rich. Nice body, easy drinking, with mellow carbonation. Lacks oomph, but a very solid beer none-the-less. The be fair, I swilled a good half of this as a distraction from the paranoid ranting of a certain beer/community organizer towards yours truly. It served me well.

On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a deep orange/brown with a small white ring of head. Aroma of light fruits and pumpkin. Flavor of pumpkin and lots of sweet malt. A little too sweet for me. A pretty ordinary pumpkin ale.
