COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with pureed pumpkins added directly to the mash, and pumpkin pie spices added at the end of the boil, this beer packs a ton of flavor into a malty and smooth amber colored ale. Perfect for when the weather starts to change and ugly sweaters come out of storage.

The aroma is pumpkin, brown sugar, spices, ok. The appearance is the standard orange, white head. The flavor is caramel, pumpkin, more spicy. The finish is spices like cinnamon, nutmeg. The body is thin/medium. OK, drinkable, far from the best pumpkin ale.

Tap at Waterfront Ale House: decent spice note, cinnamon and cloves and savory. Bready malts, caramel. Finish is a bit grassy and dry, throwing off the balance. Decent pumpkin ale, though not great.

Looks great with a nice pumpkin smell but there is nothing great about this seasonal not the best pumpkin ale that is out there

(Old BA rate - tap) Light, clear, still orange in appearance; slightly off-white thin head. Lightly gingery; touch of malt sweetness; graham crackers; good degree of spiciness. Fresh ginger; holiday spices; not really sweet at all which was nice; drying; pumpkin pie spices shine at the end. Thinner; dry; prickly carbonation. Nice drinking; actually not all that warming and found it to be fairly refreshing, but I couldnít do this one too much

Growler filled at the SFTO Apple Brandy release and consumed yesterday. Appearance: Classic dark pumpkin body with a 1 finger off white crown that shows some retention and lace. Smell: Really nice balanced mixture of cinnamon, brown sugar, clove, pie spice, etc. Not overwhelming, not imperial, but very nice for a standard pumpkin beer. Taste: Absolutely the same as the nose. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and just enough carbonation. Drinkability: Quite sessionable. I was pleased with this pumpkin beer. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 09-24-2009

From a growler given to me by a co-worker who recently visited his hometown in NY. Pours an attractive, clear deep amber with a manilla head. Pleasant medium-intensity aroma of nutmeg and a little cinnamon. Very drinkable but with a full/bold flavor. Nice toasty caramel malt base with just the right level of sweetness. Next are notes of pumpkin pie; cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and a tinge of vanilla. Has a small presence of herbal noble hops for balance. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Remarkably drinkable. Itís nothing you havenít had before but itís so well-done and tasty.

A golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice pumpkin spice with sweet caramel malt. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with smooth pumpkin spices notes, not cloying, a bit oily, quaffable. Cask at Syracuse Real Ale Festival, Oct. 23 2009.

Syracuse Real Ale Festival. Medium orange colour, average mouthfeel. Interesting carbonation with nice, understated spices.

Growler filled at the brewery and consumed the next day. Pours a clear orange amber with a moderate linen white head that faded by the second sip and left scant lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and allspice. The flavor is malt, pumpkin, cinnamon and allspice and noticeably absent of any brown sugar. This is not a sweet beer, and is fact, more on the dry side. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Very easy to drink. Well crafted.
