COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with pureed pumpkins added directly to the mash, and pumpkin pie spices added at the end of the boil, this beer packs a ton of flavor into a malty and smooth amber colored ale. Perfect for when the weather starts to change and ugly sweaters come out of storage.

Not a bad pumpkin beer, but the flavors did not do justice to the aroma. It tasted fine, but everything was very muted, and not as pronounced as I would have liked.

Draft at TriBeCa tavern. Aroma isn't all that. And body is crystal clear like a window. But flavor is spot on. Like a light version of pumpking. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a lightly reddish amber color with a small white head. Aroma is of pumpkin spice, lots of clove, ginger, nutmeg, and light carmelly bread. Taste is much the same, a little heavy handed on the spices, especially the clove and nutmeg as there is a decent amount of spice hanging on your palate.

Draft at Shortys in New York. Amber with hardly any head. Tastes like pumkin pie. I can't tell the difference between these pumpkin ales

Ar: Sweet, toasted malt - pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg and cinnamon stand out. Ap: Orange, slightly hazy - small white head with low retention, leaves a thin ring and almost no covering of foam. T: Malty-sweet up front with caramel and toasted notes - some light sweetness - cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove - low bitterness - mildly numbing spice lingers on the finish with malty backbone. P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry. Solid, sessionable pumpkin beer - nothing extraordinary or special about this example, but it is well-made and tasty.

Bottle. Nose is earthy natural pumpkin with some spice, touch of whipped cream on top. Hazy amber-copper body with slow carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Taste is relatively dry, medium-full body that’s nicely malty with some actual malt depth, spices are light and the natural pumpkin is actually allowed to come through. Crisp and refreshing, there’s a little bit of harshness in the finish, but otherwise clean. Low bitterness but enough to strike a good balance. Seems like a simple recipe with simple results, but I know how hard these are to pull off, especially considering almost no one does, but this seems like the most natural, organic thing. One of the best you’ll find out there!

Bottle from Wegmans. Spicy nose-cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin. Orange-amber color with a fine head. Creamy, spicy pumpkin flavor, some caramel, bitter spice finish. Not all that good.

Cinnamon is noticeable on the aroma with some bread notes. Appearance is gold with an off white head with good retention. Flavor has light bready malt flavors with mild spice notes. Cinnamon provides a little heat and lasts into the aftertaste. Body is medium-light with medium-high carbonation. Overall, the beer is light with a lingering cinnamon character that lasts long into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
