[6557-20140723] Bottle. Light orange hops and light pine needle aroma. Hazy, orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head head. Bitter pine resin flavour and fruity orange peel notes. Medium-full body. Good. (8/4+/8/4/16) 4.0

Big thanks to Ray for this one. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, soft and semi dry. Superfine carbonation. Airy creamy malts, medium sweet. Hops are pretty bitter, floral noble hop like bitterness. Light tropical fruits provide contrast. Little aniseed in the crisp finish. Bitterish linger and a warming afterglow. Intense but pretty drinkable.

Poured from a bottle. Hazy orange with a full lasting head. The nose is a funky blend of grapefruit/citrus, raw hops and alcohol. The first big bite is syrupy sweet orange honey...it clings and reveals a tangy caramel that is consumed by the alcohol aftermath. Don’t hesitate if you’re worried about chancing another hop experiment. Yum!

Bottle, bbotmc. Hazy amber with white head. Lychee and some dried apricot leder candy in the nose and bitter that’s derived from alcohol more than from hops. Medium-to-full body and bitter finish. A bit too heavy for me.

Murky orange with a decent spongy head. Aroma sweet and flowery with a strong pine note. Taste strongly alcoholic, sweet, bitter but the sweetness covers up a lot of it. Bitter palate but a sweet, almost cloying finish. A sipping beer, for sure.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Hazy orange color with a firm off white head and awesome lacing. Fruity nose (citrus), with malt, pine, dirt and faint smoke. Heavy and sweet malt flavor with huge hoppiness, orange marmalade, citrus peel, alcohol and extreme bitterness. Full, heavy, hard to drink, softly carbonated and challenging. OK

Bottle to the face with dinner. Aroma is mango, resin, and grapefruit. Pours beautifully amber and sticky with a decent head. Taste is resin, mangos, and grapefruit. Very syruppy mouthfeel with noticeable booze. A bit over the top with the alcohol content. Could’ve used a larger hop presence. Otherwise enjoyable.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and tropical fruits, caramel malt, pine, and a some booziness. Taste of sweet citrus, grapefruit zest, lots if caramel malt, pine, and some alcohol burn in the finish.

Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose has a bit of fruity orange hoppiness and some orange creamsickle character. Pine and a bit of pepper with some nice citrus. Very clean bitterness and a lingering bitterness.

2014-07-23. Hazy bright orange body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is relatively mild compared to the flavour, sweetish malt, citrus, light citrus seeds resin, light alcohol. Flavour is interesting, sweetish malty core, moderate bitterness throughout that increases as you go, moderate hoppy notes. Average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation. 3+ Milder than I hoped, and less depth the hops that I would like but dangerously drinkable considering the strength.
