Pouring at the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Floral potpourri and light funk on the nose. Light funk and acid. Long floral notes with touches of heather.

Sample from Night of the Barrels (EBF). Sour and cherry but not in a particularly nice combination - cough syrup and an odd bitterness. Have to agree with mesadnsim - not what I was expecting from CL - but heck we all have off nights/beers that someone doesn’t like.

A Sim rate (EBF Night of the Barrels): Sour flavour...but not in a particularly nice way. It in no way lives up to the Captain Lawrence sours I’ve had in the past. Wheaty and bitter.
